The Avengers (movie)

Paint It Black - argle_fraster
An accident during lab procedures leaves Bruce without sight. The hurt/comfort is so good!

so here's to drinks in the dark at the end of my rope - sleeponrooftops
Working their way to being together.

Boondock Saints
Making violence and twincest incredibly sexy.

Currently: 1 rec

Fallout - Sharkygal
NC17. Cinema and the development of young Irish road warriors. Incest! Slash! Classic rock! There's a great backstory here, wonderful descriptive language, hot sex as well.

Cold Case: Forever Blue
Can characters that only appeared in one episode actually count as a fandom? Coop and Jimmy seem to have hit a bunch of people pretty hard, so there is a small amount of fic out there for them.

Currently: 1 rec

Over the Edge - trascendenza
PG13. Canon. The scene that Jimmy's wife sees, from Coop's point of view. It's just 300 words but there's passion in it.

I haven't found a lot of fanfiction for this series, though maybe I just need to look harder.

Twilight, The Oddest Couple, Grumpy Old Gentlemen and Part 4 - wikdsushi
PG-13. Vimes/Vetinari. Pre-slash, to slash, to the inevitable outcome. If someone had described this to me I'm not sure I would have wanted to read it, but it really works. I couldn't find a title for the 4th part, not sure if it has one, apologies.

The Fugitive
Finding fanfiction for The Fugitive movie is really tough, and finding slash is even more difficult. Thankfully there seem to be one or two other people out there that see the subtext that I do!

Fumbling Towards Ecstasy - HG & Cherilyn
An excellent novel.

Let That Be a Lesson - hafital
Slash - Gerard/Kimble. A satisfying little story.

Good Omens
Amazing book with great characters. My mental image of Crowley is incredibly hot, and I can't resist Crowley and Aziraphale together. Crowley calls him angel, how cute is that? All slash recs.

Going Home - daegaer
Okay, I lied, this one isn't slash. But it's still freaking awesome. Crowley is kick-ass amazing here.

Its Own Place - unravels
PG13. The End comes round once again; naturally, this is not accepted gracefully. A little comedy, a little angst, set in heaven, hell, and all points between. Their relationship is so wonderful here, and Aziraphale really impresses.

Living Arrangements - afrai
Aziraphale is punished. Beautifully written, Crowley is amazing especially at the end.

The Last Tempation of Crowley - irisbleu
PG13/R. There are five parts to this. This has some pretty hot scenes in it, not too mention cuteness. My favorite scene is on Anathema's couch. Hot. ;D

All Arthur/Eames, all the time. I like it romantic, with plot, and some longing, too.

Counting Down to Another Day - rescrudescence
It's not that he trusts Eames completely or anything that ridiculous. It's just that they've worked together before, know each other more than peripherally, and it's sometimes good to have a familiar face around while Cobb goes even more off the rails and off the grid.

Early Returns - rageprufrock
Thinking that a reporter genuinely likes you is pretty much on par with feeling like you really are special to that stripper. I normally wouldn't touch this kind of AU, but this story is just so funny and satisfying.

Palm, Ditch, Steal - imperfectcircle
Heists, experiments, dreams and lies.

Wherever You Will Be (That's Where I'll Call Home) - gyzym
This amazing 8-part series has become pretty much my entire understanding of this pairing. It's so wonderful that I just can't imagine things any other way.

Reservoir Dogs
This movie blew me away. The unexpected slash element was amazing, I couldn't stop thinking about it for days.

Always Knew It Was You - Bitterfig
Orange/White, of course, and Sylvia Plath.

When I first heard of it, the thought of real-person-slash freaked me out. It just seemed really creepy to write stories about the personal lives of actual people. And yet, Viggo/Orlando is just so right. And there's so much photographic evidence. ;D

All the King's Men - Wendy
PG. A little melodramatic, but enjoyable just the same.

And This Is London - Boji
PG13. ""It was what I wanted all along, you know? Back when you all thought I was a daft muppet who only wanted fame and fortune and Hollywood bollocks." This first Viggorli I've read in quite awhile, and yet possibly one of the best. If only they were all like this...and if only people were still writing them!

Natural Progression - Zarah
R. I found the organization of the parts and time sequences a bit hard to follow at times, but it all comes together really well in the end.

Reasons - darknight999
PG13. All of the reasons that this can't be real love make perfectly good sense. A lovely little ficlet.

The Myth of Independence - Jassy
NC17. Sometimes the things that scare you the most are the things you can't live without. Good story and writing.

You and Me - Jassy
R. Very pretty.

Wire In The Blood
This may seem kind of unbelievable, but this is a het fandom for me. Shocking, I know. I always want so desperately for Tony/Carol to happen in the books and show, but it never does. So I go looking for fic!

Currently: 2 recs

Like Someone Else's Sky - omnomnom17
Pieces of Tony and Carol's relationship, all seen through Paula's eyes. I love outside perspective pieces!

The Works and Days of Hands - Blacksquirrel
Tony tracks down Carol in Edinburgh, and Carol finds Tony inside himself. It may be het, but it's hot.

X-men: First Class
This romantic tragedy nearly killed me when I was watching the movie. Erik/Charles, of course.

Currently 5 recs

Enigma - Yahtzee
Time travel-y, which creates a fascinating AU scenario.

lay down beside me (so still and so soft) - Caprice Gracewood
A different take on the events of the film. Nice chaptered story.

Replay - Unforgotten
After Magneto of an X2-ish future succeeds in the unthinkable, Charles sends his consciousness back to 1962 to guide Erik away from the path that will lead to the genocide of the human race forty years hence. This is just awesome. Check out the author's journal for extra snippets in the same universe if, like me, you want more once you've finished the main story.

Try, Try Again - and_backagain
Except that this has happened before, he thinks with a start, and something in his throat closes up as he revolves on the spot, already knowing what he's going to see. Charles' back is arching as he falls, his eyes wide, and the crumpled bullet falls to the sand beside him like a calling card. Groundhog Day fix-it!

Undone - Yahtzee
Fix-it fic, with time travel.
